2024年1月26日〜30日、ドイツ・フランクフルトにて開催された世界最大級の国際消費財見本市「アンビエンテ2024」に出展しました。

ドイツ・フランクフルトは氷点下の寒いイメージがありましたが、展示会期間中は大阪とほとんど変わらないぐらいの気候で非常に過ごしやすかったです。

展示会へは当社のスタッフ、マックスが行きました。

彼はドイツ出身の元自動車エンジニアで、日本の文化や伝統工芸に関心を抱き、日本へ移住し、現在は当社で研ぎ師として活躍しています。彼のインスタグラム→@max_sakaiknives

展示ホールは「Cut&Cook」で、世界中の包丁メーカー・調理器具メーカーが出展しておりました。国内の包丁メーカー、職人さんも多数出展しており、その方々とも交流を深めることができました。

当社ブースではプロ向け和包丁「景清」ブランドを幅広く展示し、マックスが研いだ新商品【景清　白2鋼 極上　桜シリーズ】、【景清　黒打 青2鋼　ウオルナット柄】も展示しました。

韓国・中国などのアジア圏、アメリカ・カナダの北米圏、ヨーロッパ全域など、世界中から来場者があり、堺の職人が作る和包丁への関心は非常に高く、堺ブースは常に人だかりができておりました。

堺ブースにお越しになった世界各国のバイヤーの方々、ホールで交流いただいたメーカー様・職人さんの皆さま、出展にあたりお世話になった方々、本当にありがとうございました。 

 

We exhibited at Ambiente2024, one of the world’s largest international consumer goods trade fairs, held in Frankfurt, Germany from January 26th to 30th, 2024.

I had the impression that Frankfurt, Germany was very cold, but during the exhibition period, the climate was almost the same as that of Osaka, making it very comfortable.

Our staff, Max, went to the exhibition. He is from Germany, where he worked as an automotive engineer. Afterwards, he developed an interest in Japanese culture and traditional crafts, moved to Japan, and currently works as a sharpener at our company. His Instagram → @max_sakaiknives

The exhibition hall was Cut&Cook and knife and cooking utensil manufacturers from all over the world were exhibiting. Many Japanese knife manufacturers and craftsmen were also exhibiting, and we were able to deepen our interactions with them.

At our booth, we exhibited a wide range of professional Japanese knives “Kagekiyo” brand, as well as new products sharpened by Max: [Kagekiyo White 2 Steel Gokujo Sakura Series] and [Kagekiyo Kuro Blue 2 Steel Walnut Handle].

There were visitors from all over the world, Asian countries, North America, and all of Europe. There was a high level of interest in Japanese knives made by craftsmen in Sakai, and the Sakai booth was always crowded with people.

We would like to thank all the buyers from all over the world who visited our Sakai booth, the manufacturers and craftsmen who interacted with us in the hall, and everyone who helped us exhibit.
